Culture and Creativity Strategy

The second local Creative Ireland Strategy builds on the solid foundation of the previous five years while also looking to introduce new and emerging areas of focus which aim to supply direct and indirect, immediate and long-term benefits.  

Five strategic priorities were found in Donegal following public and sectoral consultation. These are:  

  1. Embed culture and creativity across Local Authority plans, policies and project teams. 
  2. Strengthen and reinforce Donegal’s Cultural infrastructure and resources.
  3. Support cultural and creative practitioners and professionals
  4. Nurture our sense of place and identity
  5. Enable engagement with and access to culture and creativity 

The Creative Ireland Donegal Culture Team is actively delivering on this strategy and can show significant progress across the priority areas.
