A Museum for All
We want to be open and accessible to all and to ensure that the widest number of visitors can enjoy the building, the museum collection and the variety of exhibitions and events on offer. The following information may be of assistance when planning your museum visit. If you need assistance during your visit, please ask a staff member at the main entrance where the reception is located. If you have any further enquiries, please get in touch: Email: museum@donegalcoco.ie; Phone: +353 (0)74 9124613
There is accessible and low cost paid parking beside the museum. A ticket can be purchased from the ticket machines in the car park. There is also on street paid parking available in front of the museum.
Please note, quieter times will vary. The Museum can sometimes be crowded and noisy. The quietest time to visit the Museum is when it first opens between 10.00am and 11.00am and again in the afternoon after 4pm. Please remember that the Museum closes at 4.30pm. Our galleries can get particularly busy during exhibitions and when there are events on. The quietest time of the year tends to be December and January.
Accessible Toilet
We have one wheelchair accessible toilet on site which is located on the ground floor close to the museum reception.
Lift to Galleries
There is a lift on the ground floor that provides access to the first-floor gallery.

Please remember to reduce your speed accordingly in congested areas or to adjust to others who may not be able to move out of your way quickly.

There is seating available throughout the building. Should you or your party require additional seating please ask at reception.
